May 17, 2008 The Bark Heard Around the World
to be held at the Yates County Fairgrounds in Penn Yan NY from 10am-4pm . This event is so timely for upstate NY, as one of the "kennels" in this area was just granted a permit to increase the size of his operation from 60 to 260 dogs. That just drives us more to do everything possible to get the word out about this inhumane practice! This is a national event with speakers coming in from Utah to talk about puppymills. GMPR will be there with some board of directors and volunteers and set up a booth with some puppymill survivors. We will have pug items for sale and talk up our stories of Sonny Ray, maggie and special puppymill survivors from GMPR..

Saturday, May 31st from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Pet Food Warehouse on Williston Rd. TONS of new pug items for sale, pugs to meet, and the GMPR volunteers & board members will be there to answer any questions you have. Come meet some pugs up for adoption and fill out adoption applications, foster applications, volunteer applications etc. See you there!!
