Foster homes are crucial to our rescue group,
thanks for helping!
We need foster
homes in the Plattsburgh, NY area, all of Vermont (esp. in the south) and NH.
If you want to assist us in short term foster or long term foster care, send us
this form. :)
Being a foster parent is a big job. This is where the pug
goes for his/her transition period. Some pugs will need to be nursed back to health,
or trained. A foster parent is the one who will get the pug(s) ready for their
new homes.
Most of our rescue pugs have health issues, sometimes just minor ones. GMPR
will cover the vet costs for these pugs, but just be aware of this if you decide
to foster.
YOU MUST BE 18 TO FILL THIS OUT!

I agree to allow a representative from Green Mountain Pug Rescue perform a home
inspection and conduct an interview with me and my family members. I understand
that Green Mountain Pug Rescue will contact my veterinarian, my references, and
if applicable, my landlord. My application will be approved or declined based
upon the home visit report, the information provided by my references, my
veterinarian, my landlord, and my suitability, in GMPR’s opinion, as a potential
foster family. I will be informed by the Adoption Coordinator as to whether or
not my application has been approved or declined. I am of legal age and have the
income and ability to take care of a Foster Pug. All statements I have made in
this application are true and I understand that this application may be rejected
if any of the information I have supplied above is found to be false.
