Duke is anxiously awaiting his "Forever Home." He has been in foster care for over 9 months. Duke has diabetes and requires Vetsulin injections twice a day. We feel that all of his good qualities far outweigh the fact that he is diabetic. Duke is energetic, smart, and loving. He is housebroken if taken out regularly. He loves to play with his foster sister who is 2 year old female pug. Duke is about 80% blind , but gets around extremely well. His foster family have not tested him with toddlers, but he will do well with dog savvy children. He seems to charm everyone he meets. Duke is a sweetheart and so deserving of a "Forever Family"
Rescued Pug Stories
Winston was adopted by the Mason family of Heuvelton, NY on March 26, 2016. His family provided us with this adorable picture of Winston cuddling with his pug sister, Lilly. At night he enjoys sleeping under the covers by his owners' legs just like a lot of pugs. We are so happy for Winston and his family.
If you would like to send GMPR an update on a pug you adopted from us, please email GMPR's Website Manager, Amy Rothenberger at email@example.com with your pictures and stories. We would love to hear from you.
