In the past two months, GMPR has taken in
lots of owner surrender pugs, some seniors, some middle
aged. All needed a lot of vet care, surgeries for eye
issues, breathing issues, horrible dentals, etc.
These are pugs that lived in homes and they could not
afford their care so they never got it. GMPR never turns
away any pug we take in. Due to this our vet bills have
been rising dramatically over the past few months.
We are out there doing events as much as we can, but need
your help to keep going. Please consider making a tax
deductible donation to help us enable to continue helping
the victims of this recession!
Thanks for helping GMPR!

One of GMPR's great supporters and volunteers created with VT
Teddy Bears help the ORIGINAL ONE OF A KIND "OPT TO ADOPT" PUG/BEAR.
Here are some pics of the bear. Has a leather collar, with blue
tag that says "opt to adopt" on it. Leash has Green Mtn Pug Rescue
and our website on it. So adorable. Costume comes off so you can
wash easily. There is a bear underneath it all:)

Who We Are
Green Mountain Pug Rescue is a 501 (c) (3)
non profit rescue group of volunteers within Vermont, New Hampshire
& parts of New York. Pugs come to us from Owner Surrenders, Shelters,
Puppymills, etc. They are placed in loving foster homes for their
evaluation on their personalities and what home would be best suited
for the. The receive vet care too if needed. Gmpr covers all shots,
Hw/lyme tests, bloodwork prior to surgery to ensure they are healthy,
spay/neuter and dentals if needed. We work to ensure that the pug
is as healthy as we can get them prior to adoption. If there is anything
wrong long term- we will tell you in their bio.
Green Mountain Pug Rescue is supported by an all volunteer staff.
We are only able to help pugs through the generous monetary donations
and volunteer time that people graciously give. If you want to help
us with events and such- fill out a volunteer form on our site here.
Thanks to all the volunteers!
Donations to GMPR go for vet care for the pugs, and anything they
need while in GMPR. We work closely with lots of rescues to ensure
that all pugs in our area are safe and secure. We educate people on
puppymills and what that means. A large % of our pugs here come from
puppymills and we are very committed to helping these precious pugs
learn love, patience, and trust!
